Thesis Summary
This study discussed the existence of the Jewish minority in the Gulf Region since the mid-19th century until the mid-20th century . It discussed their social and economical situation besides their relations with the people, local authorities, foreign authorities, the Zionist movement and the state of Israel. I prefaced for this by mentioning the history of the Jewish minority settlement in Arabia. I tried to answer many of the queries and solve many of the problems related to different minorities which settled in the Arabian Gulf region in the modern age. I set the Jewish minority as an example, relying on local and foreign sources in presenting the information. I presented information, with a compreherive and accurate reading about this minority as a part of the unspoken history which was neglected by other studies and writings whether intentionally or unintentionally. In this study, I made use of historical critical approach, its tools, and the different interpretations of its school in analyzing the historical data, searching for information in its original sources whether in Arabic or foreign languages, criticizing and cross examining the data. I also made use of verbal sources such as personal meetings with individuals who witnessed these events or part of it.
